Polipaks sets its target at providing a full packaging solution to the customer. As a full-cycle producer, we buy plastics in granules and sell readymade printed bags and rolls. Our sales team will analyze every enquiry and work out the best possible solution bringing together the customer request and our technological skill and capabilities.
Each of our customers has a dedicated personal account manager from the customer service team who takes the full care of all production steps starting from design preparation and approval with our in-house design studio and finalizing the product with an on-time delivery to the client’s address.
Being a reliable b2b partner, we focus on the personalized approach, the on-time delivery together with guaranteed quality as the three key success factors most valued by our customers. Our modern fleet of the state-of-the-art equipment, developed ERP system and a professional team of technological experts, designers, production planners, operators, sales and management teams allow us to produce over 90% of orders on time at the highest quality.

Story
Our company is a family-owned business, which sees its strategy in customer orientation and continuous development. Starting our operations in 1996 from extruding polyethylene films, Polipaks has progressed to become the largest flexible packaging manufacturer in Latvia. In 2015 we built a brand new production and logistics centre with a total area of 35 000 sq m in Riga suburb, Marupe. The total of 30 mln EUR investment into the new facility and additional production equipment has doubled the company’s production capacity and brought the quality standards to the highest level.
We are currently certified under ISO 9000 and BRC packaging standards, which guarantees our compliance with all of the hygiene and safety regulations and allows us to work with the most demanding European producers of food and non-food products.
The key success factor for our business is people. Today we employ an international team of active and motivated professionals from Latvia and other countries. Heading towards the leading position in the packaging industry, we continuously welcome new members to our core team in order to be even more innovative, creative, competitive and efficient at the time of offering new ideas and products to our customers.

1996
PE bag manufacturer
POLIPAKS was founded as a manufacturer of packaging materials. Since then, we have gained experience year after year in polymer film extrusion and the production of various packaging products made from PE films.
2000
The first printing machine ( 6 colors )
We started working with flexographic printing, since then we have been developing and expanding our technological capabilities and the range of products and services we can offer to our customers.
2003
Launch of the first wicket bag forming line
This was the turning point into our premade bag segment. Cooperation is started with bakeries that pack bread on automatic packaging lines
2005
8-color printing machine
Expanded our printing capabilities and could offer our clients more wider printing options.
2007
Launch of lamination
With the installation of our first laminator, we quickly expanded our product range, producing duplex and triplex laminated films from various material structure
2009
10-color full-format printing with large print repeat length
Since 2009 our printing capabilities have expanded, we can now offer our customers 10 color print, including large print repeat.
2010
Launch of multilayer PE extrusion line
The installation of a new multilayer PE extrusion line enhances our capacity to provide a wider range of extruded material combinations.
2015
New production and logistics facility
Between 2012 and 2015, POLIPAKS, along with its subsidiary company POLIPAKS NT and with support from the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, began constructing a new, modern production and logistics center with a total area of 35,000 m² in Mārupe, a suburb of Riga, just a 10-minute drive from Riga Airport. This expansion enabled us to double our production capacity.
2015
Launch of the 9-layer barrier extrusion line
Our new 9-layer extrusion line enables the production of high-barrier films, allowing us to serve various industries requiring packaging that ensures extended shelf life, such as coffee, cheese, and meat products.
2018
Launch of the first quad seal bag forming line
This move aligns with the strategic decision to focus on the pet food market.
2021
Launch of the first flat bottom bag forming line
With the installation of this new converting line, we can now offer a complete range of packaging solutions for our key market segments. This state-of-the-art machine produces premium flat-bottom bags that stand out for their superior functionality and visual appeal.
2023
Launch of new laser for scribing and microperforation
We’ve expanded our product capabilities with the addition of laser technology for scribing and microperforation.

Polipaks Group’s main operational office, production plant, and logistics center are located in the Mārupe district, Latvia.
