Human Story- Head of Sales

When world is spinning fast and meanwhile it seems to be stopped completely, we have to manage to slow down for a second again to manage to speed up our own spinning to a level than ever before. To evaluate a moment to look around and acquire all needed qualities, to find the right direction and set clear targets, and aim high- description that perfectly fits not just a business, even more it fits to right person leading it. We have this one person that always has done all it takes to manage the ship to make through the storm- Viktors Kornenkovs- our Head of Sales.

It has been already 20 years we greet with Viktors every morning and since the beginning it has always been a pleasure. He started his career in Polipaks Group Trade division at company Multipack – learning and growing professionally in packaging industry. After several years of proving himself being excellent sales manager, Viktors got a chance to lead Sales team. After 2 years of successful hands-on management, he was enrolled to Production division to expand the growth of Production Division at company Polipaks- flexible packaging manufacture.  His determination, strong people management skills, knowledge of products and production, eagerness to aim higher and further has been a key for developing superior team around him with whom to get the result done. With his priceless experience, striving for common goal together with team we have managed to expand our export markets to reach 80% of our Sales to be international and develop a brand that is well known across industry and market. 

When asked what has been the most motivating throughout those years to keep going – his answer is simple: national company, with strong beliefs, strong product, strong people and high ambitions- all with a good, meaningful reason.

Viktors has a very strong, empathic personality. Very smart, kind and opened minded person, always eager to learn and try new methods to grow professionally and personally. He is very versatile and apart from his professional career, he has had another career being coach of taekwondo. Though sport itself always has been as his second part of life- kiteboarding, squash, beach volleyball, running- all for a sake of joy, hobby, renewal of energy after a long day at work. Although most of it all he enjoys reading which is irreplaceable self-growth activity.
